DFE Commercial are delighted to announce the recent sale of Evergreens Residential Care Home, Talbot Woods, Bournemouth to a local Care Home operator.  Evergreens is a substantial detached property which occupies a large corner plot.  The original building we understand was constructed circa 1903.  The accommodation provides 22 single en-suite rooms with additional planning consent for an additional 3 single en-suite rooms.  The property is set in landscaped grounds, much of which is laid to lawn with a water feature and seating area.

DFE Commercial finance the purchase of Palissy House, Newport, Isle of Wight

DFE Commercial are delighted to announce they have recently arranged an excellent funding package to assist in the purchase of Palissy House on the Isle of Wight.

While the home has been long established, our clients purchased the care facility closed having identified its potential (offering a registration of 24 places).  The property is a substantial building sat in a little under half an acre and just five minutes drive to Newport.  The new owners have an existing care facility on the Isle of Wight and this will be an excellent addition to their care provision.

Blackbrook House Maternity Home (closed/NHS) is a substantial Grade II listed building which dates back to the early 19th Century and architecturally is both imposing and boasts many attractive architectural features.  Set in 2.74 acres with access via private drive will provide care accommodation over three floors.  The conversion of this building will commence at the end of this year with a projected opening date circa December 2010.

The new owner Mr S Press has two existing units, The Avenue Care Home in Hampshire and Dauntsey House in Wiltshire.  Blackbrook House will add a wonderful dimension to the existing portfolio.

DFE Commercial are delighted to announce the successful sale of Cornelia Grange Residential Care Home, Worthing, West Sussex.  The property is located opposite the main entrance to Worthing Hospital and occupies a substantial plot.  The original properties were three pairs of semi detached buildings now interlinked on all floors to provide a substantial care facility.  The current registration is 58 however there is planning consent to increase this to a maximum of 64.  Realistically the registration will remain at 58 improving the single room ratio.  There is off road parking for 14 cars and the home benefits from an eight person passenger lift.

DFE Commercial are delighted to announce the successful sale of Haven Rose Rest Home in Shirley, Southampton.

R Cardy commented:  It was a great opportunity for us based in Southampton to sell Camelot Nursing Home for the second time.  DFE Commercial successfully sold Camelot for the previous owners in July 2006 and while this transaction has taken somewhat of a longer period of time to secure, it is nonetheless satisfying.
